Now I'm not talking about the social media site; although I guess you could say it is a social sound. I'm talking about all the birds around the farm. Honestly the sound is from sunup to sundown. Oh the joy those birds exude!
My daughter and I purchased ferns, and geraniums to hang on the porch. It seems that she has the green thumb...my aren't doing as well. I went to Lowe's and bought some Miracle Grow to help mine out. Not only are her plants thriving they also, have new life hidden underneath. Her ferns are so lush and full. The germaniums are absolutely gorgeous.
If you are sitting on the porch swing it doesn't take long to hear the little tweet sounds. Little birdies in both pots. The mother bird will fly in and out feeding all those little mouths throughout the day. There isn't a shortage of food. When they were first born they looked like translucent naked little blobs. Now they are starting to get some feathers. It won't be long until they are ready to spread their wings and fly.
These little ones remind me of a scripture in Matthew.
"Matthew 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?"
It brings me joy to know that my heavenly father will take care of me. Smile at someone to today and share the joy of the Lord!
