Transformers

Image: From Pinterest

When I was a child we would take a blanket outside lay down and look up at the sky. We would have a contest to see who could see the most images in the clouds. Through the years I visually have seen images of dogs, dragons, sheep, cats, angels, alligators, bunnies, elephants, bears, just to name a few of the many I have spied in the clouds.

The other day on the way home from Boone I looked up and saw an almost perfect dragon...honestly it brought such a good feeling over me. Smiles from ear-to-ear! Childhood memories are the best! Those images don't last long...within seconds they began to transform into another image or just a big fluffy cloud. I wanted to take a photo--nope didn't happen since I was driving.

I call the clouds transformers because they are constantly transforming on their journey through the sky. They either get bigger, smaller, dissipate, or create those awesome images.

Yep! Clouds are a good example for my life! I need to constantly be transforming into the image of my creator. I realize my transformation will span many miles, create many images, (some good-some not so good), I just hope that my transformation will be pleasing to my master.

Lord help me transform into something useful for you! Lord you are the potter and I am the clay!

When you are out and about--look up! Maybe you can spy an awesome image too!

Isaiah 64:8 "But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand."

Romans 8:29 "For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren."

2 Corinthians 3:18 "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as [a]by the Spirit of the Lord."
