I need a pen!

I need a pen that will write! After grabbing at least seven with no ink I'm thinking maybe I need to go through and check all of them. File 13 get ready!

I'm asking myself...why did I even place a pen back in the caddy if it didn't have ink?

Have you ever watched that show on TV called Hoarders? Well my pencil caddy would qualify. I think I'm a pencil and pen hoarder. Excess of anything is classified as excess...right?

My caddy isn't just full of pens, it has pencils, permanent markers, high lighters, paper clips, and even a HDMI port with additional ports, sticky notes, and a business card that says,

"Nothing we do will change your life...everything we do will change how you remember it!" Not sure why I kept the card, nevertheless, I thought it was worthy of my caddy. I would change the wording to say, "Everything we do changes life--and how we remember it."

So I'm on a mission to get things organized. Organization is good.

I've said many times there is a spiritual application in everything. Even my over packed pen/pencil caddy. I'm reminded we have to discard things in life that are useless, so we can make room for things that will help us when in need.

Bad habits can become permanent-- like a permanent marker, hard to erase or almost completely impossible to erase. My highlighter reminds me to highlight things that will help me grow. My paperclip reminds me to clip and hold onto things that are beneficial.

My pencil that has an eraser on top shows me I can make changes as I go if need be. My HDMI with additional ports reminds me that I have multiple avenues that I can access.

I'm so thankful as we maneuver through this journey called life...when it gets so packed full that we can't find what works.... we can always discard or change our course.

God has already provided a remedy. Jesus Christ! He makes it all new!

Isaiah 40:28-31 KJV

" Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
