This has been the year of the chicken....not literally I'm just saying more and more people are getting chickens. Even if they don't have a farm or a large back yard they are creating chicken space...Lol.
For years, I have wanted chickens...but it never seemed to be the right time to become a chicken mom. A few years back, The Honeycutt Holler clogging recital managed to add a real live chicken into the show. My youngest daughter was absolutely elated that a live chicken was backstage.
Needless to say "chicken fever" set in!
She had to figure out a way to hold that chicken. I really didn't think she would actually hold it in her arms--to my amazement she held that chicken like a pro.
The photo above showing the smile on her face is pure bliss! That might be the most genuine smile I have ever captured. You can't manufacture a smile from the heart!
In the years to come I hope I capture many more smiles from the heart. Joy unspeakable! A joy so great there's no doubt it's from the heart!
FYI.... I will be a chicken "whisperer" in hopes that I can share them with my children, my grandchildren, and community. I definitely hope I can spread some joy!
That famous hen created a forever memory! What love and joy we experienced that day from the presence of a hen!
Jesus offers us a greater joy! His joy will make our heart [full] overflow.
Brittney's heart overflowed that day and it had an effect on everyone around her.
I seek to have that kind of effect on others so they can see Jesus! Lord help me to be more like you and "unlike" me.
