Conversation candy! A small piece of sweetness in the form of a heart is definitely a way to keep life simple and enjoyable on this special day that comes once a year. Yum! Valentine's Day doesn't go unnoticed at my house. When the kids were young they would always pick out their favorite box of Valentine's Day cards. Some of the cards had a lollipop inside...which was a treat for them and whoever was on the receiving end as well. Chocolate, lollipops, and cards...all produced genuine smiles back then and they still do today. Yep...just a simple little sucker can make a heart exude sweetness. Lol.
Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Once again chocolate everywhere! Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate, Whipped Chocolate Ganache, and my favorite Ghirardelli Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate. So many flavors, so many varieties all in the name of Love. You can order online, or shop all the many stores that offer curb-side pickup. No excuse not to show some love.
All the options make it hard to choose just one. I love all the candies!
Conversation hearts! Pink, blue, green, white, yellow, orange, and purple...each with it's own inscription. Be mine, kiss me, I luv you, hug me, sweet heart, and true love are just a few of the many inscriptions written on the candy. I always eat one of each color. My mind thinks the color signifies a flavor....honestly they all taste the same to me. Sweet and yummy!
Red hots...we can't forget the heart shaped red hots. Yummy! Red is symbolic of Valentine's and the heart is the ultimate symbol of love.
What are you waiting on?
Go buy a heart-shaped box of chocolates,
some conversation candy,
extra chocolates,
some red hots,
&
show some love.
Happy Valentine's Day!
