Hello "Fall" see you next year, Summer. Life is full of change, the seasons change, my age, my hair color, my perception, even my attitude. I've always heard said, "Change is good."
I guess there is a "bit" of truth in that phrase.
Change I'd say, Frost this past Sunday morning! Yep, to my surprise frost on my windshield. I love warmer weather and I'm sure Fall still has some warmer days mixed in with the cooler ones... so I will bask in the warm sunny days that Fall brings my way! Shorter days, dying weeds, birds flocking together, crisp morning air...all reminders of the season at hand.
Actually, I really do love the Fall season! I always pack up my Summer clothes and unpack my Fall/Winter collection of favorites that I packed away last year. When I change the clothes in my closet it makes me very thankful for all the blessings in life that I have been afforded.
Hello "Fall" attire I say, "It's been a year since I saw you last." I love boots, jackets, and vivid Fall color shirts! Goodbye, Summer wardrobe!
Change all around. Do you see a face on top of the fairy? There's a name for this- it is called pareidolia. I look at the fairy and I see a little dog face...some of you will see it and some may not. There is beauty to be found in the midst of change.
Early Summer I took a photo of this Milk Thistle....I went back to the same location to photograph that same Milk Thistle sure enough a major change had taken place. All the vibrant colors that were present earlier are all faded away. It's as if they turned gray. Time and age! What beauty and sadness! Sad that time eventually brings death... for a season. You see a seed has to die in order to live again.
Father Time can't be slowed or stopped. Life is precious! Even with all the changes ...life is good! Thankfulness is key!
"Change" such an odd word! So, I will choose to see change as a good thing!
After "all"---the many changes. Heaven will be worth it ALL!
James 4:14 " Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
2 Corinthians 5:17 " Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
John 12:24 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit."
